Our take

I picked up the black Carson sleeper sofa for a guest room. The tufted back looks sharp, and the black fabric hides stains well. However, the sleeper function is basic—the pull-out mattress is thin and not great for a good night's sleep. At 66 inches, it's more of a loveseat, so taller guests may find it short. Assembly took about an hour. The price is tempting, but the fabric feels a bit cheap and the overall build is lightweight. It works as a spare seat and occasional bed, but don't expect luxury.
